Houston OCD Program/Clinic Presents “Worrying: You can learn to break the habit”. Worrying is feeling uneasy or being overly concerned about a situation or problem. With excessive worrying, your mind and body go into overdrive as you constantly focus on "what might happen." When worrying becomes excessive, it can lead to feelings of high anxiety and even cause you to be physically ill. Worrying can sap your emotional energy and interfere with your daily life. But chronic worrying is a mental habit that can be broken. You can train your brain to stay calm and look at life from a more positive perspective.
