Wild About Flowers
All are welcome at this program designed especially for school-aged children. In order to follow social distancing guidelines, the auditorium can only accommodate 8 families (with no more than 6 people per family). Those interested in participating will need to register in advance by calling 713-274-3131 or emailing JohnPaulLanding@pct3.hctx.net.
Join us in exploring the birds of John Paul Landing Park. All ages and experience levels welcome. Please bring your own equipment, water, and bug spray, etc. Walks leave from the Environmental Education Center.
This meeting about hummingbirds is open to all ages and will cover different topics each month which will include feeding, plant gardening to attract, and identification of different types of hummingbirds.

Staff naturalist Megan Ahlgren will be discussing E. O. Wilson’s Half Earth: Our Planet’s Fight for Life, a book that explores the idea that we could preserve eighty percent of the species on the planet by setting aside half the earth for nature.
