Join us in exploring the birds of Kleb Woods Nature Preserve. From warblers to woodpeckers and herons to hawks, we are sure to find beautiful birds to observe and photograph! All ages and levels of experience welcome. Please bring your own equipment, water, and bug spray, etc. Walks leave from the Nature Center.
Motherhood in Nature: A Mom-umental Task
All are welcome at this program designed especially for school-aged children. In order to follow social distancing guidelines, the auditorium can only accommodate 8 families (with no more than 6 people per family). Spring migrants on the coast.
You must be at least 50 years old to participate and registration is required. Buses are currently limited to 18 participants, and they should wear masks while on the bus or in close proximity to others.

Our Wednesday Afternoon Bird Programs are adult-level classes that will cover various topics on bird identification and behavior as well as birding in Texas and abroad.

Director Fred Collins will be discussing the history of Northwest Harris County. He will cover the Native Americans who lived here, the first explorers to come through the area, all the way to modern times.
