Classes in The Feldenkrais Method®
Most, but not all of the lessons will be done on the Floor.
The same types of slow, gentle movements that are used in the seated classes will be used to increase awareness of how we move
No prior experience is necessary
Wear comfortable clothing, which allows for movement
Please bring a large blanket to use on the floor, (yoga mats are too small), a towel or other small cushion for the head, and socks if you prefer to cover your feet as shoes are removed

What is Gyrokinesis®?
The Gyrokinesis Method is a movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. It is an original and unique method, which coordinates movement, breath, and mental focus.
The Gyrokinesis Method is practiced on a mat and chair, without equipment. Without the feedback and guidance of equipment, participants in a Gyrokinesis class are more dependent on their own proprioception to explore movement sequences.

This class is conversationally oriented and will help you be able to speak better; with an emphasis on day to day topics (e.g.: work, family, etc...). Grammar will be introduced that will support the function and addresses common mistakes( e.g.:mistaking "for" and "to").
