Santa Paws Christmas Drive For Homeless Pets Kicks Off This Week
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Head into the Christmas season by adding some gifts in your cart for homeless pets. Commissioner Tom Ramsey proudly kicks off the Precinct 3 Santa Paws Christmas Drive to support dogs and cats at the Harris County Pets animal shelter.
In partnership with Friends of County Pets, Santa Paws is currently underway with donation boxes located at all Precinct 3 community centers, Mercer Botanic Gardens, and Jesse Jones Park.
This donation drive is one of several supportive initiatives from Commissioner Ramsey that follows his $1.1 million investment toward additional animal control officers, education programs, and resources to reduce Harris County’s stray population. Each year, the precinct hosts multiple spay and neuter events at its community centers with Harris County Pets.
The deadline for all Santa Paws donations is December 10, 2025. There are also ways to donate online through digital wish lists. For a full list of donation items accepted and drop-off locations, please visit www.pct3.com/santapaws.
