Harris County Precinct 3 maintains the highest level of standards in maintaining over 6,750 lane miles of roadway and associated bridges throughout the area. Maintenance includes road reconstruction, storm debris removal, sign installation, right of way mowing, and more.

Crosby-Lynchburg Road, Segment 3

Project Scope: 2-lane asphalt to a 5-lane (4 lanes with a continuous turn lane) concrete pavement between Magnolia Avenue and Lochness Drive

Benefits: Improves mobility between US-90 and IH-10

Crosby-Lynchburg Road, Segment 4

Project Scope: 2-lane asphalt to a 5-lane (4 lanes with a continuous turn lane) concrete pavement between Lochness Drive and Thorn Street

Cypress Creek Greenway Phases 1 & 2

Project Scope: Construct under crossings along Cypress Creek at Highway 249(North and South Side) and construct pedestrian trails and boardwalks

Benefits: Help connect portions of the Cypress Creek Greenway together and provide access to the Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve

Flashing School Zone – Phase II

Project Scope: Construction of new school zone flashers for schools in Cy-Fair ISD

Benefits: Provides increased safety elements within the school zone

George Bush Community Center

Project Scope: Construction of a new 2-story community center next to Cypresswood Drive

Benefits: Provide community with a center that will include multiple classrooms, gathering spaces, as well as a large community hall that will be reservable by the public

Gosling Road Bridge over Spring Creek

Project Scope: 2,100' long concrete twin bridge to tie into the 4-lane concrete boulevard to the north and south

Benefits: Improve safety and traffic flow by providing 2 lanes for southbound traffic and completing the mobility connection between Harris and Montgomery Counties

Gosling Road, Segment 3

Project Scope: Convert 2-lanes to a 4-lane boulevard

Benefits: Improve safety and traffic flow by providing 2 lanes for northbound traffic and 2 lanes for southbound traffic with a raised median in between.

Benefits: Will also improve localized drainage within the subdivision

Project Scope: Construction of a new mast-arm traffic signal with related pedestrian facilities

Project Scope: Reconstruction of the visitor center located at Mercer Park that was damaged from previous flood events

Cypress North Houston Road from Perry Road to Jones Road

Project Scope: Replace existing 2-lane asphalt road and roadside ditches with a 4-lane concrete boulevard with raised median and underground storm sewer system, including new or upgraded traffic signals at Autumn Mills Road, Misty Moss Lane, and Jones Road

Benefits: Better traffic throughput, less congestion, more functional drainage, and the clear safety improvements of converting to four lanes

Huffmeister Road Sidewalk from Fleur de Lis Blvd to north of Cypress North Houston Road

North Eldridge Parkway from Spring Cypress Road to Gregson Road

Project Scope: Replace existing 2-lane asphalt road and roadside ditches with a 4-lane concrete boulevard with raised median and underground storm sewer system, including a new traffic signal at Gregson Road and a study to determine if a traffic signal is warranted at Westlock Drive.  Sidewalks will be included along certain sections of the road project.

Apache Land Subdivision Drainage Improvement Project

Project Scope:  Improvement to roadside ditches, replacing driveway culverts, and improving outfall
